Thank you for your feedback
When creating images for In-App Messages, you want to aim for a 3:1 ratio so it fits as expected in most screens. For example:
- 300px wide x 100px high
- 600px wide x 200px high
- 900px wide x 300px high
If the image you're uploading to Copilot.cx isn't quite the right size, you can follow these steps to resize it in Preview:
- Make a copy of your image (you'll see why in step 5)
- Double-click on one of your image files to open it in Preview
- Click the Show Markup Toolbar button to the left of the search box to show the editing tools
- Click the Adjust Size button to open the image resizing pop-up, enter a width and height that match the 3:1 ratio, then click OK (don't worry if it looks a bit warped, we're about to fix that)
- Open the other image in Preview and take a screenshot of a small space that only shows the background color (for example, the top-left corner of the image)
- Paste this into your resized image and expand it to fill the space
- Go back to your other image and take a screenshot of the content (for example, your logo or a picture of your device)
- Paste this into your resized image and adjust the size and placement until you're happy
- Click OK, save your resized image, and upload it to Copilot.cx
