Article Summary

Audiences is a key feature of Copilot.cx that lets you segment and target your users based on a wide range of properties.

Let's look at how it works.

How to create an audience in Copilot.cx

Click on your current audience in the top right of your screen, then click "Create new audience".

From here, you can select any combination of user properties, such as:

  • Using an iOS mobile device
  • First seen in the last 30 days
  • Triggered a feature event in the last 30 days
  • Has a specific device model

Answer important questions with Audiences

Here are three examples of things you can discover with Audiences:

  1. Which mobile operating system is most popular among our users?
  2. Which users have been active recently but still haven't used our new feature?
  3. Which features correlate with a higher NPS?

You can then use this information to create personalized campaigns for feature adoption, ratings, and sales, with timeframes to make your messaging more targeted. For example, you could send out a feature adoption campaign to any users who joined in the last 30 days but still haven't tried out your new feature.

See which audiences engage with your campaigns the most

Another great way to use Audiences in Copilot.cx is for analyzing post-campaign engagement.

Imagine that you want to sell more lightbulbs, so you run a campaign to your entire audience.

By filtering your audience data, you can get important insights on the users who engaged the most. For example: 80% of those who made a purchase use their existing lightbulb as part of a Google Home routine.

You can then use this information to create new segments that maximize the performance of your future campaigns.
